Medical Cannabis Regulations in Ohio
After we recommend it to you, you can buy medical marijuana in Ohio from any dispensary with a state license. To get a recommendation and use medical marijuana legally in your state, you need to be aware of the following laws:

In Ohio, a patient who is 18 years old and has one or more qualifying conditions will be allowed to get a medical marijuana card. Also, the patient must prove that they are a resident of Ohio by providing a valid state ID or driver's license.

In Ohio, a tier I medical cannabis cardholder is permitted to carry up to 8 ounces of THC that test at 23% or lower, and a tier II cardholder is permitted to carry up to 5.3 ounces of THC that test at 23% or higher but not at 35%.

Only after gaining the approval of a parent or guardian to treatment can a certified medical professional suggest medical marijuana treatment. Before being added to the Patient & Caregiver registry, the recommending physician will require both the patient and the patient's caregiver to present an official, valid ID.
